Nutrition and diet are so important and remain especially crucial for mom and family following the days and weeks postpartum. As a postpartum doula, I encourage and support the health of the mother, baby, and family. Part of my job can include cooking and suggestions for meals. Helping families prepare and plan for meals and snacks is an important step in empowering them with ways to stay healthy and happy.
